Suspended membership
Leigh Golf Club does not have a suspended membership status.
If a member cancels their membership, or downgrades their membership, they may only return to the former category on payment of the equivalent subscriptions that would have been paid if the former membership category had continued.
If a period of 12 months or more has passed since the category was changed, the member can apply for a new membership category without having to pay any arrears.
Members wishing to cancel or downgrade their membership should be aware that:
- service related discounts are based on continued membership and will be affected by moving between categories.
- if they cancel or change their membership and wish to return, if there is a waiting list they will be placed on it.
- to avoid paying any joining fee that may be in force, members are advised to retain some form of membership
