Our Professional

Sean Blinkhorn is our Professional here at Leigh Golf Club 

Sean has been our PGA assistant for a number of years and is now bringing a fresh perspective for the future of our professional shop. Sean can provide all aspects of golf tuition to any level of ability from those new to golf to the experienced player at Leigh Golf Club. The beginner golfer can be rest assured that equipment can be borrowed from the shop for their lessons. Individual coaching on the long game, pitching, chipping, bunkers and putting. Also 7 hole playing lessons including course management. He regularly holds group lessons for lady beginners and established players. For juniors, individual or group lessons are available, plus junior golf days including tuition, course management and fun competitions coupled with rules / etiquette for 6 years and upwards.

Coaching Fees 

Individual 1/2 hour £25, 1/2 hour in Golf Studio £30

Playing lessons also available on request.

We offer lesson vouchers to cover all aspects of tuition from individual to a course of lessons ideal for any budget to give as a perfect gift to suit any ability of player from the beginner to the advanced player.

The Club Shop

We have a superbly stocked club shop where you can browse through a complete range of golf equipment, ladies, gents clothing and must-have accessories, all at very competitive prices. All backed by The Pro Shop Price Promise, where they will match any price of a reputable shop or online store.

Top brands on offer include Ping, Titleist, Callaway, Odyssey, Footjoy, Skechers, Bushnel, Garmin, Under Armour, Island Green, Catmandoo, Sunderland, Srixon, Motocaddy and Powakaddy to name but a few.

The Pro Shop is an authorised Ping fitting centre and Sean hosts regular demo days with brands such as Ping and Callaway.

Sean can provide crested items such as team shirts and sweaters as well as prizes with a prize presentation table along with golf gift bags. We’re sure that the shop has everything or can source and order in for you all you’ll need to perfectly complement your game.

Full repair service is available including re-grips & re-shafts. Fitting is free of charge and you’ll find a large selection of grips and shafts in stock.

Both Sean and his team pride themselves on quality customer service, advice and help being of prime importance.

They are always happy to discuss any aspect of golf equipment, help you with the rules of the game or simply a go to point for anything Leigh Golf Club.
